FSC® AND PEFC™ CHAIN OF CUSTODY CERTIFICATIONS
The FSC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification guarantees the traceability of materials coming from well-managed forests, from controlled sources, from recovered materials or from a combination of these sources.
Thanks to the CoC, an organization can demonstrate the responsible origin of the wood or paper used for its products and therefore highlight its contribution to sustainable forest management.
Products bearing the FSC mark, in addition to certified virgin material, can also be made from recycled sources and controlled wood .
PEFC Chain of Custody certification provides an independently verified guarantee that the certified forest and tree origin material contained in a product comes from sustainably managed forests. This complements the PEFC sustainable forest management certification, ensuring that forests are managed in line with strict environmental, social and economic requirements.
